Filtration units for process water recovery in food industry are exspecially adapted systems that have to fullfill the folling parameters:

- Chemical Oxigen Demand (COD)
- Sediments
- Suspended solids
- Soluble chemicals
- Bacteriological parameters
- Water hardness
- Iron, manganese, copper among others
Furthermore one has to take account of the opportunity to release cleaned water to surface or to recycle it. A combination of both is also possible.
